Local historian, Anne Langley, has written a number of books and booklets on history projects she has researched, including Victorian Village Life, Brandon Silk Mill and Warwick County Asylum. Her latest book is called The British Almshouse and 2 chapters of it are of local significance. Her presentation will be based on her research. She gave the talk to the 2016 Warwick Words History Festival.
Anne is a volunteer at Warwickshire County Record Office and writes articles for the Our Warwickshire website.
