“Two Thousand Years of British Coinage” by Colin Clay

Local coin collector, Colin Clay, will give a Powerpoint presentation including examples of coins from every monarch’s reign from William the Conqueror onwards. He will explain moneyers, mintmarks, runic letters and Latin inscriptions. Also referenced will be the siege coins of the British Civil Wars, the Industrial Revolution and coins used in the British Empire.
