A Powerpoint presentation by Henry Marriot, of the history of Thornley’s Brewery in Radford Semele. Henry’s great-grandfather, Henry Edward Thornley was a farmer who brewed beer for his farm labourers during the harvest season. This process extended to beer brewing for the neighbouring farms and in the late 19th century Henry’s great-grandfather and grandfather established the brewery which continued in production until the 1970s.
